Radio Programs & Television Benjamin started his career in 1964 at age 20 on a Radio station in Evanston, IL, a suburb of Chicago, at station WEAW AM/FM, which is now WOJO. He started with an afternoon music and talk show on the AM side, mixing his abilities of "tuning into" his listeners on their relationship. After a few months he was asked to host the all night program from midnight to 6:00 am, Monday through Friday simulcast on both AM and FM. This was the first chance Benjamin was able to share his "gifts" with a large group at one time. In the early 70's Benjamin Hosted, produced, directed and co-wrote a Children's television program on Saturday mornings from 9 am to 10 am. "Yes, that young guy is me - in 1971 I hosted, produced, directed and wrote a kid's television show called DJ's PARTY HOUSE, Channel 44 in Chicago."
During
the beginning of Benjamin's call-in radio program (2001-2003) on
WJJG, many of his listeners kept commenting about the Amazing things
he was doing and the name "The
Amazing Benjamin" was started. "The Medical Psychic Program" aired for more than 20 years and The Amazing
Benjamin Program started with the WTAN AM Tampa, Florida, 3 years ago.
Throughout the past 43 years, Benjamin has been on many different Radio and TV shows both as a Host and a guest. The various shows were in the U.S., Canada and England. Some of the Radio stations that Benjamin was the Host: WEAW AM/FM WCBR AM/FM WJJG AM/FM WTAN AM WSNS TV PROGRAM (now Telemundo) Broadcast his live talk show in the late 70's from the Gaslight Club, 5 days a week, to 5 different stations in the Chicago area, and many more.
